The 2011 Africa Schools Championships (3rd edition)

The 2011 Africa Schools Championships (3rd edition) was successfully organized in Pretoria, South Africa 11-15 December 2011.
The format of the event was based on Thomas & Uber cups, where the boy schools play the Thomas cup format and the girls play the Uber cup format.
16 schools qualified to participate in the final stage after their National qualification tournaments.
Herewith are the results:
Boy school championship:
1. Winner (Gold medal): St Esprit College (Mauritius).
2. Finalist (Silver medal): Crane High School (Uganda).
3. Semi-finalist (Bronze medal): Oranjemund Private School (Namibia).
3. Semi-finalist (Bronze medal): Jim Fouche High School (South Africa).
Girl schools championship:
1. Winner (Gold medal): Oranjemund Private School (Namibia).
2. Finalist (Silver medal): Diamandweld High School (South Africa).
3. Semi-finalist (Bronze medal): Queen Elizabeth College (Mauritius).
3. Semi-finalist (Bronze medal): Bloemhof High School (South Africa).
