South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Morocco will take part in the Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens in Port Elizabeth on the 9th and 10th December 2011.
This 3rd stage of the Sevens Rugby world circuit will see the return of Morocco, which played 12 tournaments in the past with 19 victories and 41 defeats out of 60 matches played.
Morocco finds itself in Pool B with France, New-Zealand and Scotland.
An exciting adventure for the Moroccan team selector, Christophe Rouchaleou, who sees there before anything else the opportunity for his players to gain experience, hoping to get 1 or 2 wins. The long term objective is to play in the next Sevens Rugby World Cup in Moscow in 2013, and why not grab a qualification for the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. The Moroccan Sevens team will start the competition with a game against New-Zealand.
South African, playing its 3rd tournament this season, will be in Pool C with Australia, Canada and Kenya.
The South Africans currently share the 3rd place in the world rankings with France and New-Zealand.
Zimbabwe, last African representative, is in Pool D with Fiji, Portugal and Wales.
Finally, in Pool A, we find England, Argentina, the United-States and Samoa.
