IRB trainins in Francophone Africa

Three IRB Training of Trainers courses took place over the last few weeks in the Indian Ocean, North and Central Africa.
These three courses are part of a more global process whose objective is to improve skills in terms of training Regional Technical Advisers, Regional Coaches, and Technical Zone Advisers and to offer them the opportunity to give out IRB training to Coaches and Match Officials.
For 2011, three courses were planned in Madagascar, Tunisia, and Cameroon. In 2012, the process will be completed with courses in Senegal, Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire. Thus, the whole of French-speaking countries members of IRB will be provided with a group of 10 to 12 trainers whose mission will be to bring training as close as possible to various members through their regional functions and, in this way, multiply in a very noticeable manner the number of Qualified Coaches and Match Officials.
