England wins the Dubai Sevens

By beating France 17 to 12, England won the Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens, 2nd stage of the Sevens Rugby World circuit.

South Africa beaten in the Plate final by Australia 17 to 14, shares from now on the 3rd place in the world rankings with New-Zealand and France. Kenya was beaten in the Shield final by Samoa 31 to 17 and stays 15th in the rankings. Just before that, Samoa had got rid of Zimbabwe (21-12) in the Shield semi-final.

Zimbabwe, for which it was the 1st tournament out of 5 planned this season, is placed last in the world rankings.

Next stage will be on 9 and 10 December in South Africa with the « Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens ».
