Women's CAR VII South

Eight teams, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Madagascar, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe met on the 29^th and 30^th of October for CAR’s Sevens Women’s Rugby Tournament, South zone.

After the Thiès Tournament in Senegal in April, it was the southern teams’ turn to meet in this tournament, which was the qualifiers' first stage for the Women’s Sevens Rugby World Cup that will take place in Russia in 2013.

After a first day during which the teams split into two pools of four met, South Africa finally dominated by beating Uganda quite easily in the Cup final by 42 to 5.

With regards to the Plate, Zambia got the better of Madagascar by the closer score of 15 to 14.
