Africa Cup 1 B : Uganda vs Madagascar

Uganda started off with a bang against a lacklustre Madagascar team to score 4 tries in the first 25 minutes of the game to eventually lead by 48 - 7 at halftime. (Saturday, June, 18 th).

After halftime Madagascar came back as a different team and started playing their usual running game and gave Uganda a fright. They outplayed Uganda in the second half scored 23 points against the 10 by Uganda.

The outstanding players for Uganda was the flanker Robert Seguya who scored a hat trick of tries and the replacement Stephen Ogwete who scored 2 tries. On the Madagascar side the player who impressed was the flanker Boniface Rebearilala Toussain.
