On the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of December 2011, 19 referees met for 3 days of training at the Olympic Academy in Tripoli; it allowed them to go through the contents of IRB Rugby
Ready and IRB Level I Training for Match Officials.
This training was conducted by Mohsen Bouchmel, CAR Regional Development Officer in charge of Africa's North Zone (Mauritania, Egypt, Libya and Algeria) and at the Libyan level Tarek Ben Rween masterfully ensured the seminar's organisation.
